Honda 250x or 450x dirtbike?

Is 450x worth the extra 1000 dollars? why?

it would depend alot on both your size and riding ability...

a larger rider would need the extra umph the 450 has to offer as would a more experienced rider needing more speed.

but likewise, if either a newer rider or lighter weight rider, the 250 might just be the ticket.

I am personally a larger experienced rider and I would be very disappointed with the power of the 250 4 stroke if I were trying to be competitive in a class of much smaller riders purely due to physics, as any straight stretch I would not stand a chance in keeping up with the smaller guys...

but if you are smaller and are looking for a great bike for general riding and playing around on, the 250 would be a very good choice.
