Honda Accord I4 Vtec?

I'm just wondering at what RPM the vtec kicks in on my 05 4 Cyl accord.

I think it is 5800? And to the poster above me, it is not always on. When Vtec kicks in, it uses a different cam lobe so more air and fuel will come in..thus having a more powerful explosion.

Vtec is variable valve timing technology so in short is always on, since it works trough your computer system. Is pretty much a fancy name for an updated fuel and exhaust management system that has existed since fuel injection was created.
