Honda CRF250R Questions?

Question

I have a 2008 Honda CRF250R.

It has stock exhaust at the moment.

I was thinking of getting an aftermarket exhaust system.

I am looking for more power and for it to be louder, as I have no sound limit for the MX track I own.

Will a single or Dual muffler give me more power and noise?

PLEASE CAN NOBODY GET CRAPPED OFF AT ME FOR WANTING A LOUD MUFFLER! I OWN MY OWN MX TRACK! NOBODY LIVES ANYWHERE NEAR IT AND THERE IS NO NOISE RESTRICTIONS!!!

ANYBODY WHO TELLS ME THAT I SHOULD GET A QUIET MUFFLER SHOULD BE SHOT BECAUSE I AM MAKING IT VERY CLEAR THAT NOBODY CARES IF THERE IS LOUD BIKES WHERE I RIDE!!!!!!

dont forget, the stock system was designed for the bike, creates backpressure necessary for low end torque.  Alot of exhaust systems claim 2-5hp gains, but, they are usually at the top end, and even though its a dirt bike, and youre usually out screamin on it, it still going to be noticeable to you that you lose some low end grunt.  youre going to be looking at getting the pipes, getting a free flowing air cleaner/system of some type, and retune to make it all work well.  I would stay w the single, its just personal pref.  Also, if you go slip on, those yield no gain..youd have to go w a full header and can for a gain.

exhaust systems cost a lot and don't add much power, an Athena big bore cylinder cost a little less than a full system and gives much more substantial power gains.  

plus you won't have a needlessly loud bike that will get attention from enviro-n**i's whether you think it will or not, and that's bad for all of us
