Honda CRV radiator leaking

I have a 2001 Honda CRV and the radiator is leaking. This is a very small leak, there is no signs on the floor of the garage and it is not over heating, but I can smell coolant and when idle I can see steam coming out. My question is, since this seems to be a small leak, can I use that commerical leak stop stuff on the radiator?

My wifes radiator in her Crv just started leaking.  There is a fine crack across the top of the plasic part of the radiator and hers leaks when it idles.  I am going to replace it with an aftermaket radiator  they arent to expensive and I think its worth the time and the trouble later when you break down. I Replaced three radiators last year in diffrent cars and they all drove with the leak until it got so bad they had to get towd or they just couldnt drive at all unil it got fixed.
