Honda Hawk 400 fuel filter?

Did the 1979 honda hawk 400 come with a fuel filter, this may sound stupid, but after searching for one on the bike i realized it may not have one. If it does where is it located?

it should be there if not, the pet c**k has a screen in the bowl... you can put an inline filter as well which will greatly help if the tank has a bit of rust in it to keep your jets clean ;)

If there is a fuel filter then it would be between the petcock on the tank and the carburetor.
