Honda Sport 1.6 Insurance for an 18 years old, second driver...?

I am looking to get 2004 Honda 1.6 Sport and I am only 18. My dad is planning to be the first driver and me as a second when it comes to the car's insurance. Guys, how much do you think the insurance would cost us?

Well considering that that is a sports car and you are 18, I would guess that your auto insurance is gonna cost you a pretty penny.

Is your dad listing you as the primary driver on any other vehicle? If he lists you as primary driver on an older vehicle, that will lower your rate.

The best thing you can do would be to compare 3-5 auto insurance quotes to make sure you get the best rate possible.  I would also call your dad's auto insurance company to see if they are going to get you the best rate.  The site below is a really good resource because it allows you to compare quotes for all of the insurance companies in your area for free.
