When I parked my bike after a ride in airtemp 30 degr., I heard the coolingwater was boiling...

What could be the problem?

The fan is working ok, and the system is filled up with recomended antifreeze coolant.

How do I check this out? and is it danger for the engine?

Could it be the thermostate? and if so - How do I take this out for a test?

please don't run it till you fix it

mine has 70.000 on it still runs fine

  2. Are you sure its not coolant running through the system?  If your coolant is boiling then your fan should run constantly and your temperature light should be on.

On this site you can find the fiche cards for your bike.  Use the drop-down to find "Radiator" and it will show the components/
