  1. he may be selling a higher specification model,or he,s just a rip of merchant, shop around.

  2. The Accord that is being advertised could be a low end version and the one being sold at the lot may have some added accesories like a sunroof, satellite radio, leather seats, etc.  There is no set price on any vehicle.  It all depends on the features and the demand for it.

  3. Dealers need to make money on what they sell so there is a markup and taxes and tags are not included in this price.

Go around to all the Honda dealerships and get their price. Go with the lowest or the one that can get as close to the price you want to spend.

  4. Like many said, probably more equipment added. Could also be a bump sticker added or market adjustment.

Demand high for fuel sippers now and know of one dealer ship that was selling Yaris for 1000 under invoice 6 months ago are now adding 1000 to the MSRP.

  5. Are you asking about a brand new car. The price is one the window sticker. However, that price is a "suggested" sale price. Dealers have the right to sell for lower -- or higher. For vehicles that are in short supply and high demand, actual selling prices can be higher that window sticker MSRP.

Are you sure the dealer hasn't added equipment to the car, which would make it's price higher than Internet prices? Again, look at the window sticker.
