Honda sold over 60,000,000 unites sense 1958. I have it on good authority that they still make. They updated the fuel delivery in 2007 with EFI - 200 MPG up to 340MPG. . . The MSRP is $1400 - Where the heck are they ? ? ?

  1. Model #?

Honda makes lots of 50cc bikes - always did and still do.

  2. Honda make lots of 50cc depends on wot you want to do?

Go to there web site have a look what countires they are selling them in or try and buy direct.

  3. http://powersports.honda.com/current_off...

pretty much any bike shop that sells Honda products should be able to get what you are looking for in the USA.

back in the older days, these came as street legal since alot of people used them more as a pit bike while out camping or traveling to use as simple transportation.  now days, most are off-road only usage.

  4. Japan Only models,,,the pgm-fi ones.

    No Exports.

    The j*p-domestic Little Cub,Street Cub,Super 50's and 90's,,and Press Cub models are FI'd

    .........................................

Honda only added the new simpler PGM-FI in '07 to these bikes.

    They into'd F.I. in '98 or '99?

I suspect it won't be long till FI models are more widely available thruout their export mkts.

Just my opinion,,but I seriously doubt we'll see Cubs in USA again.

    ............................

    In "The Americas",,Mexico has C90's,,,

but its Carb'd as far as I know.

    They're about $2,000 USD

    ................................

That 340mpg thing is a bit misleading.

It's a Test Stand result  at little more than High Idle under no load.

"Equivalent Speed" is well under 20mph.

I doubt an actual Rider could ever even approach that figure,,,not in any "real world" riding conditions.

Nevertheless,,,it Does demonstrate some sorta of "Relative Economy"

All the Cubs are well proven to be TUFF to beat down under 90~100 MPG,,,in just average driving over several tanks of gas.

(which invariably includes running the dogpoo outa them much of the time)

Deliberate attention to Econo-Driving in Urban Conditions,,,they'll do 125~150mpg

    ....................................

One alternative is to shop the Used Bike market.

Somehow,,,prices have Not yet gone totally insane

    on C90's,CM70's,,and even old 50's.

Some nice examples still surface regularly.

The bikes are very solid,,and any repair/refresh that may be needed is usually  simple and inexpensive.

The CL70's were lil "scrambler styled" Street Bikes,,,4spd manual clutch 70cc's.

Really Lots of fun,,,and  comparable gas mileage.

Plenty Peppy  for around town use.

Ya know the old saying ,,"Solid as a ROCK"??

The lil' Horizontal Hondas is where Rocks learned solid from.

America will Never Know what they Lost when they voted those little bikes off this island.
