Honest about tattoos?

do tattoos hurt im thinking about getting one just wanted to know what u guys thought and other things of interest that u guys wanna tell me

everyones different, what can I say.  Some people just flat out can't take a tattoo.  I've tattooed people who sit like a rock, and big gym buffs that cried from a 20 minute session.  everyone is different.  Location of the tat has a lot to do with it as well.  Areas such as the stomach, ribs, inner bicep, and armpit are going to be more intense than your shoulder or forearm.  Time also plays a big part.  Some tattoos can take multiple hours, depending on detail, size, and the artist himself.  Some artists are heavy handed as well, so you'd obviously feel it a lot more.

People can tell you it hurts, or it doesn't, but in the end it's something you're really just going to have to experience for yourself. Goodluck with everything when you get it done.

with my work I fell asleep, but others it would have hurt them pretty good.  It all depends on your threshold for pain.  Its like getting a shot multiple times in the same area.

it's not as bad as people make it out to be!!

ye it hurts (the amount of pain depends on your body's tolerance to pain)

but it's nothing! if it hurt that much people wouldn't be covered in them would they?

i compare the feeling to rubbing your skin quite hard with sand paper, like a scratching/burning sensation!

feels like being scratched by a cat multiple times on the same spot lol not a pleasent feeling but its is 100% worth it! do it:D

I just got a tattoo on my side, honestly it didn't hurt at all. It's not that big, and it really only felt like a tiny irritation. My Tattoo also only took 4 min.  But really it doesn't hurt all that bad.
