  1. I enjoy taking a break during a ride for a couple of cold ones. The DUI laws are nothing but a scam to make money for local governments. They do nothing to deter the real drunk driving problem, the hardcore alcoholic. Visit www.ridl.us and get informed.

  2. I do party from time to time so take that anyway you want, but I would never ride a motorcycle under the influence of anything.

  3. i'll have a drink or 2 and ride.  nothing excessive, but i'm not going to call someone to pick me up because i had a beer with dinner...

  4. Sober 19 years.

  5. Nope, I have to much to loose!

  6. na, i might if those beer hats that hold 2 cans were only dot approved... or even if i could find a cup holder my harley wouldn't vibrate the drink out of

besides, that's what mary jane is for

  7. I don't drink.

I don't need mind altering drugs to have a good time.

    Alcohol is a drug.

  8. I used to drink and dial...I would call up old boyfriends or their new girlfriends. Pretty sad.

  9. i'll have a couple of beers and still ride home,i find that the weed smokers are just as much a hazard to themselves/others,as any drinker is

  10. When you watch cops and them guys fail the sobriety tests they always say, "oh I only had on or two". Just like the drinkers in this post. One or two is all it takes for you to put my life at risk. If you're thirsty drink kool-aid. The entire point of drinking beer is to get buzzed and or drunk.

Why would u want to be buzzed and or drunk on a motorcycle?

Three words, Re - Tar - Dead!

  11. I hate motorcylists!! And as an alcoholic, I see no point in getting involved in either. By the way...from some of the dumbass motorcyclists around here...driving sober might help save their life...since their riding skillz are under developed to say the least.

  12. i drive and nap,,,, alcohol does nothing for me except make me sleeeeepy zzz.zzzzzzz zzzzz zzzzz

  13. Yeah, it's wrong but Sr. Agnes said I was going to burn in h**l anyway so WTF?

  14. I will drive/ride with one or two in me, but that is pretty much it.  I think it is stupid....I'm a cop and I arrest people for doing it all the time and see bad accidents caused by those who are.

  15. H. Yeah !!!

3 cups of coffee gets me bout 200 miles,Refuel and go again,

  16. NEVER, NEVER NEVER

I can see if someone has maybe one beer with food, and they plan on sitting there for an hour,  but to go out drinking on a bike DUMB

  17. Drinking and driving is one of the dumbest things modern man does. I used to do it when I was a kid and just plain stupid but not anymore and I will tell anyone that needs to hear it how dumb it is. I think you should get one chance to stay out of prison if you get caught....you may have had one beer and not realized you were over the BAC, it can happen. After that you do prison time, period. These little slaps on the wrist people get for dwi arent effective.2 years in the clink might do it for alot of them though. Driving is dangerous enough without adding a substance that alters your reactions and thinking. FOr those of you out there that think its ok to smoke a joint and hit the road this applies to you as well. ANY drug and driving is retarded.

  18. Nope. h**l, it's even in my club's by-laws that we can't ride after a drink PERIOD. Too many of us have buried friends and loved ones from stupid c**p like that. I'm all for having a good time but if you must party, ride to the party and don't ride until the following day. That's our rules and we enforce it sternly... too bad we needed to make that a rule in the first place but not everyone can make the right call without clearly defined rules that are strictly enforced by sober brothers.

  19. smoke and ride never drink and drive !

  20. I don't drink much, but I wouldn't even take the chance. Too much money invested in my bike. Why waste it.

  21. absolutely not...

any time i am planning on leaving somewhere and i've been drinking...

I either get a ride from a non-drinker or wait 1 hour per drink to drive/ride...

i'm not a big fan of alcohol either...while the side effects can be fun, I can't stand the taste...

I don't drink that often, so not a big problem for me...

  22. Always the designated driver here.

    1) Alcohol increases your PERCEIVED ability - hence the alcohol itself makes you think you're OK when you're not OK.

    2) Most of the people I know who do drink and drive are somehow under the impression those laws are for all the other idiots, but not for them. So it all boils down to selfish ego.

  23. no way!

    its not safe

you could end up killing your self

    or somebody else

  24. No,never.I tailed a guy a few months ago who was obviously DUI.It was a Sunday morning,he was all over the road, eventually he stopped at a shopping centre to get more drink and i phoned the filth and waited for them.He got a five year ban and large fine.Maybe he'll think twice the next time, there are enough sober idiots on the road without the likes of him.

  25. I enjoy a beer.  I like motorbikes.  If I've been drinking, however, I never drive or ride, even after one drink.  It's just asking for trouble.

  26. nope I never ride or drive after having a drink I value my life and the life's of others then to risk it that way
