  1. Looks trait, but very colorful and pretty. Seems you have good idea as to what you are doing but the format and subject matter doesn't suggest anything new or exciting, (Chagall with out an edge). How big? Medium used? Support used? Idea behind image? These answers would help define your question. Looks great, don't stop now!

  2. I think your medium says something good about your wish to be inventive, it's really beautiful, however you need to study drawing to get the figures to be smoother and more convincing to the eye.   You figures are a little wiggly and one arm is one length and the other arm on the same body is a completely different length, it shouldn't be like that...granted their being looked at from different sides but they still have a relationship that I don't see you getting in these paintings.....the body shouldn't look so loosely drawn either....I don't mean to be a bad *** but with the human form there is a smooth transition of form as one follows the line of an arm or leg, it's not wiggly as it is in your work at this time or with these paintings.  With line drawing the one thing I have found that works and the only thing that really works is working from a live model for many many hours until you have a good idea of not only what makes up the body (distances, proportions, lengths, sizes, natural shapes, etc) but how to make a convincing volume in the space you are putting a figure into.  Your bodies just don't seem to fill the space, they seem flat and that's ok but you could do better with more practice with time with working from life.  I also find the various sizes from arm length to head size to be unsatisfactory.   Your proportion needs some work and here too that is something you get from studying anatomy and working from real people.

The good thing is your willing to ask for an honest appraisal and your looking to learn how to "do it a little better" and I think you will.   But it takes years for some, and other it's may only be a shorter time before you can honestly say about your own artwork "that's good stuff"    For some it never comes....just don't get discouraged, keep working at it....it's worth it

Have a look at my work, I'm no angel, now it's your turn to chew me up and spit me out.

  3. I like it because of the interest created by the shapes, colour and form.  I immediately see it as a game and want to move the pieces.  That is good because it grabs my attention and makes me think.  I wouldn't mind having it on my wall.  That's praise indeed.

  4. I'm not an artist but i will give you my opinion

there's a part of me that likes it and a part of me that doesn't

i like how the shapes and the lines flow together and how the ,paint?, is applied but there's something about the colours that just doesn't work for me.

they just seem to clash for some reason.

    overall i would give it a 6/10

  5. It is very...interesting!
