Honest opinion about engagement ring please!?

This is the ring I am thinking about getting (except it wont be platinum... will be 14K white gold).

I have a question about the style of the band. I am going to get a princess cut in the middle, but I am iffy on the sidestones. In this picture, the sidestones are the baguettes and then a round stone. I like that look, but would it look weird with a princess center or not really? Do you think a princess after the baguette would look better? I dunno, I kinda like the round better. What do you guys think :)

Ask yourself this: "Do I want to wear this for the rest of my life?"  

If the answer is: "ehhh not sure".  DON'T BUY IT.

TOO MANY people buy things, be it clothes, shoes or furniture that they KIND OF like...  why settle for less than your idea of perfect.

If you're not IN LOVE with it, don't buy it.  You don't need our oppinions for that.  The fact that you are asking, to me, says that you don't like this style enough for purchase.

My personal opinion is to have princess cuts instead of round if you are getting a main princess diamond.  However, if you like the look otherwise, I'm sure it will still be beautiful!  Look around online and see if you can find a complete ring like that with a princess cut in the middle, you might be able to find some pictures (maybe even on ebay- just to see a picture), just an idea! :-)

the best thing is to go outlooking if you see someting that you like then trie it on. remember that y need to have a price rang. the est way to figure this out is to know what size ct.( cariot in dimond size) you would like.    Also color, floses in the stone. What you can and can not see with the nacked eye.If you are t sore about these things then you edto ask a person when looking. Explain what you are looking for and look at different rings to put together what you would like.

I think it's lovely but have you considered having an Emerald cut diamond in the centre? The ring is art deco in style and the emerald cut works better with that than the princess cut.

Just be careful and have it checked every 6 months.  I have one that is similar but without the baguettes and it gets stuck in  my pockets and gloves all the time.  I almost lost the diamond out of it once.

If I had to do it again I would have picked out something a little different.

I'm not a fan of baguettes, nor princess cut - and it just seems that that ring is trying too hard with three different cuts of diamonds.

I like the setting with a round centre stone.  

Firstly, I don't like princess cut diamonds very much (I think they are a bit too trendy and don't have the sparkle/brilliance of a round), but in some settings Princess cuts do look stunning.

Secondly, with this particular setting I think the there different type of cuts looks a little weird/over the top, I think if you do like the setting it would look much better with a round centre stone to match the ones in the setting.

I personally would not choose that setting, but it is pretty if that's your style.

1. I don't really like the side baguettes. However, it won't be my ring, so that doesn't matter.

2. I think that with those side stones, princess cut looks better than round.

I like that ring as long as you put a diamond in the middle....my mom has the same one, its lovely. That's my opinion and I  hope you like it.For a wedding ring and engagement its nice!!!!!
