Can people please give me some opinions on my new site?

Its just new to the web and I would just like to find out some opinions before I spend some money on SEO.

I am not trying to promote the site here, i just want some opinions.

Much appreciated.

  1. I looked the site and I find it very nice.. kinda cool actually..

I just think that its much better if you put the prices with the description, so we don't need to double click first before we see the prices.. It's just a suggestion..

  2. Love the way you designed your site.

The metatags are done right. The intro blurb helps users know what the site is all about. Trust signals such as contact information are present.

I suggest that you install a good analytics software, such as Google Analytics, so you can track the conversion of your site and determine what pages hinder the prospect's buying process

My only comment is your ADD to cart button. Use a more forceful word -- BUY. Plus change the color to red to make users see it. Right now, I have to gloss over the page to see how I can buy an item. It's at the bottom, and the color blue is too tame.

The buy now button should be prominent (hence top retailers put it above the fold, and use bold colors such as red). You want to make it stand out.

One other mistake on your site is the black text on black background -- which makes anything impossible to read! Take a look at the navigation column on this page http://www.highlandtackle.co.uk/special_... . Change the black color -- even the white letters of "OUR STORE" and "MORE" becomes weak and diluted

  3. Awesome Site!!

Easy to read, easy to navigate, very clear and great imagery.

I wish my site were as good.

  4. it good that u made a website but it looks boring

  5. It looks great and highly professional.

If I was a fisher, needing equipment, I would buy from there.

  6. After a cursory result of your <title> metatag, here are some helpful comments:

Unless your domain name "Highland Tackle" is a major brand [which it is not], make sure to localize your website's URL to a particular business local, such as a city, state, country.  This will greatly clear up any confusion over where is "Highland" in relation to your website which is in  ___ [city], ____ [state], UK.

    Good luck!

  7. I think it looks great and very professional!
