Honestly, do i sound fat to you?

im 5'3

122lbs and a size 5 in jeans?

i gained 7-9lbs in the past two months and its made really self concious = / but that does NOT mean pity me and tell me im fine lol. i want HONEST NOT MEAN answers!

i have a slim hourglass figure if it makes a difference

should i try losing the weight i gained?

  1. For your height, your weight is perfect, 120lbs is around healthy, so you shouldn't try losing the weight. If you don't already, you should exercise daily so that you can tone your body and keep the extra weight off, maintain a healthy diet, consisting of vegetables and fruits, but once in a while, you can eat fast food. I'm currently 5'4" and weigh 122lbs, i've been maintaining this diet for a while now and i haven't gained the weight back, not even the fast food cracks it, you just have to watch what you eat everyday, but do not try to lose the weight, you're perfectly fine.

You are nice and lean, please enjoy it.  I used to be this way and now at 41 can't lose weight to save my life.  Just work out and make any unwanted inches into muscle.  5'3" in a size 5 pants is perfect.  Besides, guys like women with a little meat on their bones, so don't sweat it, just work out and stay fit.  Hope this helps.

  5. trust me you have nothing to worry about. I have friend who is twelve and like barely 5' and like she was 119 lbs. last time I checked but I'm not so sure she didn't gain. And she considers herslef "mildly overweight" which isn't exactly true she needs to realise that she is kinda hate to say it....fat and actually realise that wen she gets that chocolate browine cone from Ben and Jerry's that effects her , .     Sorry if that was wayyyyyy TMI. But I fyour worried then just run around the nighborhood everyday until your satisfied and watch what you eat, I mean don't stop eating, but think befor you bite into that chocolate. If you think by anymeans that your fat you have notttttttt seen this

  12. I weighed more than that when I was 5'3, and it was normal. And It's normal for you, too.

    But if you want to loos weight than just eat healthier and exercise more.

    You dont seem fat AT ALL.

  13. No. definetely not. You don't sound "fat" to me, and if you can't tell if there's any fat, and you look and feel healthy, you're not. If you're really concerned, talk to a health professional like your doctor.

  19. You soooo should not worry about this. I was about 112 pounds from when i was about 12 till i was 15 no matter what i ate and then one year for no reason i could explain i suddenly put on a whole 14 pounds, i was maybe a bit chubby for my height for a while and then during the year following that i just grew taller and evened out. I wouldnt recommend dieting at your age, IF you do decide you want to lose weight (though it doesnt sound like you need to at all) then just eat healthier and take up some excercise, walking, cycling or whatever. But leave dieting until your at least 16/17ish by which time your body will have (mostly) stopped growing.

    Reason why youve probably put on weight is your body is delevoping so give it a chance without adding more strain to it by not eating what it needs!!!

  20. you sound like some of my friends and none of them look FAT at all! every ones body is different. only lose weight if you feel like its the right thing to do.

  21. ya know, i'm 5'6" and 130.  Believe me, i look good, so no, your not fat at all, your pretty slim. But honestly, i wouldn't try making any more gains like that last 7-9 pound one lol!
