Honestly...How far do I realistically need to take it before it becomes child neglect. Why do parents care?

I dont even care, but my family does. I think it does the child good. Even though she is 2 years. Why do parents care, it is not even there child.

This question is over my head. But even wondering how far you take anything to become child neglect is never a good thing. Parents care because a child does not have to belong to you to be concerned. A human is a human, and these little souls sometimes need an older voice to speak for them.

you are about stupid. a two year old child depends on you for everything so i would say not far at all.and people care when it is not their child because it is not that child's fault they were born to an idiot that doesn't take care of them.

Because a child is helpless and can not speak for themselves.  I care because if their parent  can not see or care about the harm they inflict on a child then Someone needs to.

If you don't care about other children being neglected than mind your own business and let someone else who does care about it, like your family cares. Other than that, grow up.

I'm sorry... I do not mean to be "insulting" or degrading, but it seems to me, the "label" you gave yourself...."Dog eats Dog-****" applies to you for "some" reason...because...first of all... hardly ANYONE can "understand" what you're "saying"-nor- what you "mean" -nor-  what you imply???

What kind of question is this??? "Why do parents care"???Are you serious??? Maybe you should better raise some "hamster's" -or- "dogs"...instead of an 2-yrs.-old, helpless child!!!! Don't you realize, that children.... DEPEND  on us adults??? That's why they are called : " your dependents"!!!! Are you a "step-father" to this 2 yrs.-old infant??? If so.... Have mercy on the POOR child's soul!!! Don't you know, that children are ...our HIGHERST GOOD ??? They are..."our future"...our pride & joy !!! Man, I get really upset, when I experience all these "incapable men", creating children, where they should rather.....**** "keep a sack of fleas"... at least, you can't do any harm to them!!! Again, I don't mean to insult you, but you do NOT show any "qualifications" of "father-hood"!!! And I'm sure, that's NOT "only" my "opinion"!!!
