  1. Being happy is all that matters. If you have all the money in the world and aren't happy how could you enjoy it.

  2. happinesss

    :)

    xo

  3. Being happy... forget merchandise.

  4. Being secure and comforatable. By that, I mean, having a decent home where my kids can grow up safely and have a great childhood. "Things" are just things. Our vehicles aren't the greatest, I just put a patch over a hole in our couch, we're five people, two dogs and a cat living in a two bedroom rental while we wait for our house to sell, but it's clean and cozy, and we aren't struggling too much. Life is great, as far as I'm concerned :).

Right now, I've got my husband and three kids. We're doing fine, we've got great friends and family who loves us. I'm perfectly content.

  5. Figuring out what God created me for will create a good life - happiness is a side effect.

Chasing happiness in and of itself is like a dog chasing it's tail.

Blaise Pascal referred to a God-shaped vaccuum.  Trying to fill that void with happiness, or stuff, doesn't work.

  6. I'm already happy. Maybe I can try the expensive things for awhile?

    If you're buying. ;-)

  7. being happy but you can only be happy if your suroundings are happy.

  8. Being happy. When you get caught up in the game of only being happy if you have the biggest, best and newest of anything you will only have brief happiness because someone else will always get the newer, bigger or better model of anything, it's an endless, viscious cycle.

Also have you seen the price tags and major stress that goes along with having the bigger house, the better car, etc?

I actually laugh because I have noticed that in the neighborhoods of the multi-million dollar houses you never see anyone in the yard or outside except the lawn care service, the landscaper, etc. You know why you never see the owners??? Because they have to work their butts off to pay their mortgages, taxes, lawn service, maids, etc. Too busy working to enjoy it? Doesn't sound like fun to me!!

  9. A little bit of both.

Hey, admit it, we're all materialistic - it's an unfortunate flaw we humans have to live with - and of course, being emotionally fulfilled also counts.

  10. being happy!

I dont care about stuff.  I want to have fun,  love and be loved.

  11. Being happy.  The rest is just for comfort.

    Peace.
