Honestly...the lottery?

I know that I am not the only one that sits at work or at home and dreams about winning the lottery....Be honest what would be the first things that you would do with the mone if you won????

Put it in the bank and use the interest. Just think about you could live off the interest.......

or just spend it to buy a really nice house and of course I would give some of it to charity

I would by myself a new guitar, then pay off my college tuition and my brother's tuition. Then I would put the rest into savings and live off the interest.

You really should look up the stories of people who have won the big jackpots. Some very tragic stories there.

Your friends move away from you. They figure, "I should have won that, why did she?

Your relatives, particularly long lost, distant relatives, show up with schemes and pleadings.

People quit their jobs and move into bigger houses that they can't keep up.

My brother-in-law said that most people in Southeastern Ohio said that the first things they would buy with a big Lotto payment were a bass boat and a four-slice toaster.

Ok i have thought about this question a lot actually and its always the same thing.  First thing I would do is get a hold of my accountant and figure out what needs to be done in terms of taxes and how to best invest this money.  Next I would actually put everything I own for sale.  My house, car, and business and yard sale all unneeded stuff, I just want cash.  Next after everything is in order, probably take like a month or two to liquidate everything, I would buy a plane ticket to Europe and disappear for about a year or 2 and just travel the world.  all of europe, asia, south america, austrailia and anywhere else I can think of.  My travel would end in the U.S., where i would travel while looking for a nice place to live, most likely Either where I currently live or L.A. or Seattle at this point, but i may find other places as i travel that i Like.  Once I found a nice place, I would buy a nice house and Live a modest Life.  All the money i win I would just keep in the Bank except for Like a 2 million of it which would be used on my house, new car, and Furniture, which I would only purchase after I got back from my world travels.  Essentially I want to win enough where i can just leave the money untouched and live off the Interest, and I want to disappear from everything i know so people will forget about me and not bug me about money after winning the lottery, i hear all the scammers come out of the woodworks after winning a lottery, I really want to avoid that as much as i can.

Pay off my bills, buy a house, open savings accounts in a couple of different countries in the local currency, put $100,000 in two different savings accounts, put some in investments, the rest goes into an annuity.

depends on how much i won.

but whatever amount i sure as h**l wouldnt spend it on luxuries and stupid expenses. id lose it in a month like the other lottery winners

Put most of it in a money market that earns 3% and live off the interest
