  4. Lack of sleep does bad things to me. I get very crabby but I also laugh at incredibly stupid things. My head aches constantly. My whole body aches, actually. I feel dizzy and stupid and my eyes play tricks on me.

Also, from a medical and psychological standpoint, if you don't sleep you will eventually go insane after about a week, if I'm not mistaken. You have to dream or your brain starts to freak out.

But I don't know of anyone who's managed to stay awake that long without using illegal drugs...

  5. Lack of sleep can lead to simple problems like loss of appetite and irritability, and more complex issues like depression. It also reduces your ability to fight off infections (like weakened immune system). When I was 17, I ended up with pneumonia after sleeping a total of about 14 hours over the course of ten days. The effects of not sleeping get worse the longer you go without a good night's rest.

  6. It makes me wildly dissociated, it tends to make me giggly, it makes me rather irrational... oh, and it gives me muscle cramps. Yay for hypertonia.

  7. i appear drunk. i start slurring my speech and talking nonsense. i get really rapid mood swings and i trip out on the inside of my eyelids (that's the best i can explain it...like when you see patterns because of lights...only i see pictures) and if i get really tired i start hearing things. it also makes me very tearful and low.

  8. OK so from personal experience, this is what happened to me. I'm not sure if it's the same with others, but yeah.

-I started to fail in grades

    -Can't concentrate

    -Tired all the time

    -Irritable

    -Head-ache

    -Start to procrastinate

    -Go a bit mad

-Get hyperactive during the day then become exhausted in the afternoon

    -Start hearing/seeing things

-Start thinking crazy things (don't ask)

-Basically you feel horrible and you just want to go home and sleep. :P

    Hope that helped. ><

  9. Some days it makes you eat a lot less, sometimes a lot more.

I'm always dizzy, even when i do sleep, so i don't know about that, but i'm guessing it does.

You do get a constant headache.

    The body NEEDS sleep.

And, if you're not sleeping, when you do sleep, you don't dream as much, but i'm guessing you could get nightmares from lack of sleep.

ALSOOOO... It makes you act really weird, you sway all the time and you don't realize it, you go cross eyed and almost pass out when you're walking to work and you act like you're stoned.

Ooooh, and your ears start ringing and buzzing and you feel like your head is turning into sponge...

  10. I get a headache. So I take some ibuprofen. Unfortunately ibuprofen does have limits because if I stay up too long I get a little delusional.
