Honey Trees in Pokemon Diamond!??! plz help?

so ive been trying to catch a munchlax and a heracross for my team for a long time now and i just cant seem to find them. I have no issues with the honey trees and how they work i was just wondering if it was possible to save the game, go to your DS and speed up the time by 12 hours or so and go back into the game

would that work?

Sorry! Its not possible, I tried fast forwarding about 12 hours, and I went back and it still didn't work. In the end, I just traded to get a Munchlax and migrated to get the Heracross. I really don't like the tree thing in Diamond, its so irritating, especially when you wait for ages and it still isn't the one you want. Your best option is to go on GTS in Jubilife City, much much easier. Hope this helps!

You are doing the right thing but it just takes awhile for you to find one since they are rare to find.Forwarding time does nothing when you want to speed up, so the Pokemon will appear in the honey tree so don't do it.Just wait it will appear but not as soon as you think unless you get lucky.The only tip I can give you is put a lot of honey on a lot of trees so you can increase your chances of finding one of those Pokemon.

Well the thing is when you speed up the clock it doesnt let you do any time-specific things for 24 hours, like migrate, catch Drifloon, of use Honey trees. However, Honey Trees only need to sit for 6 to 8 hours, not 12.
