My new twin cousins are called Honey and India - what do you think of those names? I can't decide - I think they're quite cool and modern and I can imagine very pretty twins with those names, but maybe they're a bit unusual... what do you think of them?

  1. I think those names are gorgeous I really do! I loved India as a name for a little girl and I9 love Honey as well good on ur aunt for choosing gorgeous names for her children!

  2. they are interesting.i like the 2nd one more coz i am from india.nowadays celebrities give unusual names to their babies so why not give a celeb-like name to ur twin cousins?

  3. I think they're definitely unique and cute. Honey will probably have a harder time with her name than India.

    All the best.

  4. I like them both but they are not modern names,my great great aunt was called Honey and India was a popular name in the 1800s.

  5. I think they are adorable =)

Unusual is good.. We are all unique people! x

  6. I love the name India and then you can call her Indie - it's beautiful.

I'm not too keen on Honey but it goes well with Honey.

I imagine they'll be stunning looking and very popular and girly.

  7. They might as well be called Glucose Syrup and Afghanistan.  Guess who's going to grow up hating their parents.

  8. I like Honey but not India.

  9. I like the name Honey, but I don't like the name India.

Honey is very pretty, but India is not so nice.

  10. Yikes.  I don't think India is too bad, but who calls their kid Honey?  That's a nickname or a food...  not a given name.  I'm sorry, but I think they could have tried WAY harder.

  11. India isnt to bad but Honey ? eventually she will be a 50yr old named Honey. I hope they gave her a nice middle name.

  12. I quite like the names. They are better than a lot of other boring names out there.

  13. They are different, different is good, our twins are called Summer and Skye, they really suit them; to be honest it doesn't matter what other people think of them.

  14. India is pretty, but Honey is a little tacky.

  15. I like India, but Honey will surely get teased a few times

  16. I think that they are a little too unusual. I think that they are really pretty, but Honey is really cut-sey. I mean, imagine growing up and being called "Honey"? It would be hard to take you seriously. Can you imagine Grandma Honey?

  17. Very pretty names....

  18. I've heard the name India before, but not Honey.  Are they both girls? I like the name India, but not so sure about Honey.

  19. India bad idea  could ruin childhood and severely affect later life kids can be cruel

  20. i love them. i really really likle thoses names.

they do not sound at all similar which is good becasue i hate it when parents call twins  molly and polly, Jennifer and jessica, Harry and Harriet etc.  their names are individual.

  21. i love India!

Honey has been used as a people name in the past but sorry i prefer this for a pet!!

my daughterinlaw named her husky puppy Honey.and i have known quite a few people who have named their great danes ,chows or german shepherds Honey also.so it is not a good choice for a child in my opinion, but good luck!

  22. Wow, these are both absolutely beautiful names and a great contrast, picking a more unusual name is always better than any old common name.

Just don't go OTT or the children may get picked on

    but these names are lovely

    hope this helped

    Amie

  23. i think those names are lovely and in a few months you'll look at them and you wont b able to imagine them being called anything else!!

  24. It's better than Stacey and Tracy... or Mia and Tia.

    lol

Seriously, I like India.  Honey, well... I wouldn't name my daughter that but to each their own.

I think twins should be named as two individuals that they are.  Twins don't need special twin names.

  25. Hi,

I think India is quite cute but not too sure about Honey but long as your auntie/uncle likes them that all that matters!

    Lx

  26. I don't like either of them.

India isn't so bad. It's a pretty word, but I just personally hate country names.

But please, don't use Honey. People will always be trying to l**k her because she's so sweet.

No seriously, Honey is a bad name. If you want a name that means honey, use Melia, or Pamela. or any name that has "mel" in it, because Mel is greek for honey. Melissa would be nice.

  27. Those names are definitely pretty. I also can imagine beautiful girls with those names. They are unusual names. But that is ok. It doesn't matter if the name is unusual. The child gets to shape and design their name the way they want. The parents pick the name that they think is best and that they like. And then the rest of the name is left in the hands of the kid. But i think those names are lovely. I really think that the names are really cute and special names!

  28. i dont think they are chav at all, i think those names are gorgeous!!! never heard them before, they stand out!! i love them!

  29. Awful names.

    Poor kids.

  30. no, don't really like them.

india is fine. its Honey that i don't like.

i guess their parents love it.

  31. I think they are superlicious names!!
