Is there anyway to tell from the jar, whether the brand was produced by farmers who feed sugar water vs. farmers who do not???

  1. Brush your teeth, eat less honey, get more exercise.

  2. I seriously doubt that it is.  Your problems lie with overeating, under exercising and poor hygiene.

  3. Just keep off the honey..

  4. Just stop eating it.

  5. Stop eating it.

  6. Um, how 'bout you lay off the honey.

  7. Honey is essentially bee vomit.  I don't know why anyone would want to eat bee vomit.  You could use something else like maple syrup or rice syrup.

I am vegan and I do not consume honey.  I think that there is no reason to take a bee's honey.  That's there's and they worked really hard to make it.  They didn't make it for us.  The made it to sustain their hive, which is their home.

I don't think many people would like it if someone bigger and stronger than them came in and took what they worked all day to make for dinner and replaced it with something not nearly as good as what they took.

Just because humans are bigger and stronger doesn't mean we should do whatever we want and take advantage of anyone or anything we want.

You come on here and complain that honey is making you fat and rotting your teeth.  I don't really want to hear about it.  I think maybe you shouldn't have consumed it.  You would be fine.  Think before you eat.

  8. stop eating it then, problem sorted! :)

  9. The honey might be rotting your teeth and making you gain weight... You should probably not eat it all the time.

Look at the nutrition label on the back of the jar 'cause there's probably a lot of sugar. Sugar will make your teeth rot and will put some pounds on you.

If you are eating honey constantly then you probably have a bad diet. Consider eating more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Limit the amount of alcohol and caffeine you consume and drink more water.

  10. is this a joke? as long as you are physically active and you maintain correct dental hygiene i don't see how honey can rot your teeth and make you fat!

  11. First of all, you are making this up.

Secondly, what difference would it make?  Honey is derived from flower nectar metabolized by the bees.  Supplemental feeding of the bees by the beekeeper is unrelated.  If you could make honey from sugar water, why would we have bees at all?

  12. I've never seen a distinction of what the bees are fed by the jar label.  If you stick to 1-2 TBSP serving per day, you should be fine.  Honey is very high in sugar and calories, but great for antioxidants as well, so limit your intake.  For extra punch of antioxidants, try Mangosteen juice, or green tea.
