Honeymoon - Aruba (all-inclusive) or drive through California ?

Question

It would be great to get some opinions from experienced travellers on what they would do on their honeymoon. My choices were either a week in Aruba or drive down California from San Fran to LA. This is our honeymoon trip but we are not the type of people who need to be alone all the time and in need of very romantic settings. What in your opinion would be more fun?

i loved aruba.  there are lots of things to do

and forget about that hallowell girl, unless you're planing on getting drunk with a bunch of people you dont know and letting them take you somewhere private, then you dont have to worry about anything.

the weather is always perfect there, the water is warm and clear.  there is snorkling, scuba, biking atv's & horseback in the desert & on the beach (we did the horseback, it rocked)

i personally am not an island person, and that whole natalie hollaway disappearance is the first thing i think of when i hear Aruba.  and instead of going from Frisco to LA (bad traffic to nightmare traffic) I would drive up the 101 to maybe Oregon or on into Washington.  beautiful coast line up that way (Napa, Sequoias, the Cascades, Mt. St. Helens, etc.)
