Honeymoon destination deals?

What deals have you found? With flights so expensive its hard getting a honeymoon for under $4000

oh my gosh! i found the best honeymoon deal through american airlines vacations. www.aavacations.com

it kind of depends on the time of year you're looking to go, but my fiancee and i are booking our honeymoon (for the first week of november) to punta cana in the dominican republic for $1800.  this includes roundtrip airfare and 6 nights at an all-inclusive, adult only resort (the resort is called the punta cana princess).  my best friend and her husband went there on their honeymoon, paid less than $2000 for the whole trip and loved it, they have gone back, on the same trip twice and they have only been married since march 2007.  they said its is the best deal in the world!  i would suggest going there, but keep in mind that it is cheaper in the off-season (i believe september through march) than it is the rest of the year, so depending on when you're getting married, it could be more than $2000, could be less, so give it a shot!!!

if you're not looking to go tropical and want to go to europe or something (i am assuming you're from the US), try www.virginvacations.com through virgin atlantic airlines...  they have good deals too!

you should definitely be able to find a top destination for way cheaper than that! depends how long you want to go for and where really then start the search for flights do a google search under cheap flights then try them all write down what each company is charging for each destination, also think about a last minute deal which can also be fun!

you can either go on line for package deals through the airlines, example american airlines.com and click on package deals. or

go on a really great cruise 1-800-CRUISES  or cruises only .com,  or you can check with your local travel agency. their are lots out there for 4000.00!

we got an all inclusive honeymoon deal in Ocho Rios Jamaica for $2300.. and prices go down.  My advice is look EVERYDAY there are days that the flight prices/package deals are less...  Tuesday is the best day I found, but it all depends.  It also depends what time of year you are going... Peak season is always going to be more no matter flight prices or gas prices...

Also.. check all travel sites.  Expedia, Orbitz, bookit, yahoo, aol, try them all..
