Honeymoon destination ideas?

im in australia

was thinking vegas but dont know if i want 2 spend that much......

or maybe sumwer tropical,yet private ??

can anyone tell me where they went and what it was like?

its probably going to be the only time we ever go over seas...

and im not really into historical european stuff

Hawaii is a good place, that's were i went and theres plenty of different islands U can go to.

We went to St Maarten in March.  It was a great time.  The island is tropical, the locals are friendly and the rum is plentiful.  All around a good time.  The beaches are nice and the water is comfortable.  There is lots of night life and the only thing is eating out is a little pricey.

St maarten is Duch and St martin is French.  The island is cut in half in that sense, but yuo only need a passport to get there, not travel from one side to the other.  I would recommend visiting both sides, but I would fly into and stay on the dutch side.  Simpson Bay is a good place to stay and central to getting around the island.  Traffic is a bit scary, but the bus system is cheap and akin to taxis.  Taxis are expensive and should be avoided, but it is not a problem since both are clearly marked.

A good place to find accomodations is homeaway.com.  You can rent someone elses condo at a decent price.

So if you are budgeting this out, that can alleviate some of the worry.

Before you book you should get some information about traveling to Fiji. The islands are spectacular and in many cases just as affordable as local honeymoons.
