My future husband and I want to go to Cancun in June of 2008. I have been researching all inclusive resorts in the hotel zone for months now, but they all look the same (gorgeous). Does anyone have any great experiences at resorts to help 2 young honeymooners that love the beach at day and nightlife after dark?

  1. I heard that these are some of the BEST places for ADULTS ONLY AND HONEYMOONERS.  Lord knows you don't want to spend your special occasion surrounded by screemin' babies and loud mommies, so consider these hotels below.  Oh, do ALL INCLUSIVE to save lots of $$$:

  2. The Palace resorts are the best. Palaceresorts.com

  3. rui hotels and dreams hotels are good ones that are in the downtown  cancun hotel district area.  if you like nightlife then this is the best place to stay.  if you want more of a resort / larger area sort of feel then stay south in the Riveria Maya area.  the cabs can get pricey going from Riveria Maya to / from Cancun just for nightlife.

  4. Dreams Cancun.

2 beaches, good food, top of the 7, close to all the night life you'll want.

Congratulations and good luck on your research.June will be a great time to go.

  5. I can help you if I know when in June and about how much you'd like to spend.  Also, free on my website you can sign up for a honeymoon registry where you can add what you'd like for your honeymoon and friends and family can pay for part or all of it as part of your wedding present.  If you'd like more information please email me and I'd be happy to help you.

  6. My wife and I spent one glorious week at the Hotel Gran Caribe Real and we hope to return to it someday.  Check it out.  Great rooms, fabulous pool, fantastic service and right on the beach, too.  Our glasses were never empty and there was more food than we could handle.  The nightlife was prolific and engaging.  We went as "all-inclusive", which is the only way to go.  Enjoy!

Just checked their website and they have rebuilt it since we were there, so my information is dated.  But how much different can it be, really?

  7. I have stayed at several hotels w/all inclusive and let me tell you the food sucks!  the only hotel that has great food is the Intercontinental Presidente Hotel.  The beach is calm, sand is gorgeous.  It's not an all inclusive, but worth the pay. I believe it's a 5 star golden w/apple.  They have a great pool and everyone is very friendly @ this hotel. My only choice for cancun.  My manager stayed @ the Riu Hotel and said it was great also. and with the presidente you can walk to the main attraction @  night, the clubs, bars etc.  and safe.  You can't bring food inside the hotel, but we always do.  Take it in a backpack or small luggage where they wont check it.

  8. I stayed at Club Internationale in the tourist zone.  It was cool because it was right by the beach, had swimming pools, kickass rooms, a restaurant, and, a grocery store.  Also, it was right by a bus stop so you could easily get into the city in 5 minutes.
