Honeymoon in July 08?

Question

I am planning a honeymoon for july 08. My finance wants a tropical island with blue water and plenty of sun. can you guys please suggest what spots should i look into for having a great honeymoon?

A great place to honeymoon is the Cayman Islands. The beaches are very nice and relaxing. I stayed at Harbour Heights, a hotel/resort that is located right on the world famous Seven Mile Beach. Some of the activities include: scuba, snorkeling, and coral reef diving. The people there are very nice and friendly.

Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada or Trinidad & Tobago are the safest bet, particulalry during hurricane season.  Barbados is the better island although St Lucia is supposed to be very beautiful, thought slightly wetter than Barbados.

I looked a lot into Barbados and loved everything I read. The only reason my fiance aren't honeymooning there, is ours is in September which is one of the bad parts of hurricane season. I really liked the Almond Beach resorts. They're all inclusive and pretty reasonable. Of course the rates were probably cheaper in September, but I think it would be worth it. Almond Beach Village vs the other Almond resorts looked to be the best based on my research. Hope it helps!
