Honeymoon in Kaui, Hawaii or Los Cabos, Mexico?

Well, we have changed our minds again and are deciding between these two places. Anyone been to these place? Any feedback would be great! thanks:) Time of year we are going is early October.

I've been to both and trust me, Kauai is the most beautiful place on the planet. There is a reason they film all the aerial scenes for movies and tv shows like Lost and Jurassic Park.

I'll be honest, the night life isn't great. So if you are looking to party, it really isn't the place. Plus it is gonna be a lot more expensive, especially with some airlines cutting flights to there now.

But if you want a place to chill and just enjoy the beauty, it can't be beat. Poipu beach is amazing. The people on that island and friendly and will totally leave you alone.

Oh, and the surf is pretty good too. A lot of pros have come out of Kauai.

My brother lives on the island of Kauai. We vacationed there last summer. It is the most beautiful place I've ever been to. Everything is so clean and lush. There are so many activities in and around the island. We can't wait to go again! My vote is definitely for Kauai, Hawaii.

Plus, if you live in the United States, you won't have to deal with the language barrier in Kauai, or with having to get a passport.
