Honeymoon in Key Largo?

What's it like in Key Largo? Me and my fiance booked our honeymoon there without really researching it so now were kinda scared we might have made a mistake. We just thought, the keys...white sand beautiful water lots of stuff to do and see. So anyone whos been there or lived there, whats it really like? What are the beaches and water like? I'm definetly wanting to see some blue-green tropical water. Will I find that there? What is there to do? Is it a good place for a honeymoon?

belive it or not,  there really aren't many beaches on the keys.  The islands are coral based and except for a few places, there are not beaches.  If you guys are into other types of water sports, such as fishing, scuba, snorkle etc then you are in a good area.  There are literally hundreds of fishing, scuba, snorkle charters you can take from the keys. Key largo is the largest key and is close to the mainland so you can easily hit the mainland beaches.  There is one main road that goes up and down the keys and the speed limit is 35mph with a cop every 100 ft giving out speeding tickets.  I point this out to let you know, it may take 2+ hours to get from largo to key west. There are many, many waterfront bars and places to eat up and down the islands.
