Honeymoon in Negril, Jamaica?

Question

What are some fun things to do? (We're both water sports and golf enthusiasts)

Also what hotel would you recommend and why? (currently we're leaning towards Couples)

Finally what are some awesome places to eat?

if you do the AI (all inclusive) scene you'll eat 99% of your meals at your hotel. Couples Negril is -wonderful-... went there a few years ago and we're going back in 10 days for our Wedding. At Couples you can play golf... and swin, ski, snorkle, scuba, parasail, sail (hobis), sail-board, etc... get the jerk chicken at the beach bar... great afternoon snack.

Couple is a good all inclusive. They seem to include much more than many of the All Inclusive in terms of activities. I have also heard their food is great. CSA is located next to Beaches on 7 mile beach, where as Couples Negril is located on Bloody Bay and a little more secluded. CSA has the sports complex though. They are only like 2 mins from each other.

As for water sports I know the have sun fish sailer's, Hobie cats, snorkeling, and water skiing. They have a message board dedicated to those going to Couples that you should probably check out. They do not offer golf but Negril does have a golf course on the way to Sav La Mar. Negril. Negril Hills golf course. Not sure about the prices or runnings there. Looks nice enough.

Great places to eat off Couples grounds are Rockhouse (especially for a romantic sunset dinner), Xtabi, LTU pub, and Kuyaba. All have great food and views. If $$ is no object then make reservations at The Caves for a dinner for 2 in the cave. It's about $100pp.. Stunning.

You can snorkel, wind serf, jet ski and tons of other stuff. The food is great, Negril has a golf course. I recomend Beaches Negril because the price is good.
