  1. in february the weather is quite cold, also in venice, it could rain. one weekend in venice is enough, you should visit florence if you like the arts, milan if you like fashion n fun, rome for arts, history. you can spend some days in italy travelling around by train which is quite comfortable n not very expensive. for my honeymoon i went to sicily, the sea is great n also the towns, the buildings n thr landscape.

    best wishes

  2. You should buy a lonley planet book about venice, it will sugest both affordable and nice hotels plus it will give you and idea of what would be interesting to you guys. I have just been to Florence and that was a really nice city too so if you decide to  go to more than one city, florence is a good choice.

  3. I cant really answer this but want to say I am sooo jealous!!!! :)

I wanted to do this for our honeymoon last month but my fiance at the time said it was too expensive so we went to the Dominican Republic instead. I hope you have a great time!!!

  4. go to www.frommers.com has list of all nice and budget hotels near the city.

Venice was nice, I did all my shopping there. Bought some really interesting things including a glass ring which is very cool, and got to see a demenstration of how they turn glass into objects. Its also a great place to buy leather items.

    Gandala was fun and romantic.

I can't think of any crazy things, the place is like a maze, so can get a little lost without a map and sometimes with a map.

  5. Good choise. Venice is the most beautiful place in the world. 3 days in venice are enough.  During your stay here, you should visit the near cities: Padova and Vicenza and the palladian villas in all the veneto region.  Portofino and 5 terre are also beautiful places to visit but too far from Venice. So I think that you should visit all the veneto region because you'd spent a little time in transferts. The veneto region is very beautiful.
