Honeymoon in ottawa-things to do... and best place to stay??

i'm just wondering where the best place to stay in ottawa for a honeymoon would be..

Ottawa has very scenic canal tours. It also has this specific strip full of restaurants on Sparks street and eat a casual dinner once there in their patios in the middle of the street! It's beautiful. It's basically a cobbled stone road that no cars are allowed on and there are shops and restaurants on both sides. http://www.restaurant.ca/all_search.php?...

Ottawa is also incredibly close to Montreal ($50 train ride and you can see how gorgeous Montreal is for a day and go sightseeing there too or maybe stay there one night?).
