Honeymoon recommendations: Cozumel or Aruba?

Question

My fiancé and I have narrowed down our July 2009 honeymoon to Cozumel or Aruba. We plan on staying about 7 days, and we’re interested in an all-inclusive package. We want to have relaxing days by the pool or beach with some excursions available, and for nighttime we want a fun party environment. Doesn’t have to be couples only but we aren’t too big on kids everywhere.

Any recommendations or suggestions?

Although I agree that Aruba would be a great destination, I would have to recommend you Cozumel after all, simply because you will find much more to do and see there.

Cozumel is BEAUTIFUL. Don't go to Aruba. There is a lot more to do in Cozumel. My brother went to Cozumel for his Honeymoon and then went there again for his one year wedding anniversary. He had so much fun and I think you will too!

If you come to Aruba, you will definately enjoy the cool sand and the turquoise waters. There are great restaurants and the motto of the island is "One Happy Island" The bars and clubs are open until 3-4am in the morning. THe only excurisions are to the National Park to see the rock formations or the natural pool, which is really awesome, otherwise ATV's or parasailing or kite sufing etc.. mostly water based. Try the Occidental or the Divi Village Resorts.
