Question:

Honeymooning in Paris during Autumn (Early Oct) or Winter (Christmas period)?

I need some advice here please. I'm in a dilemma chosing between these 2 seasons. While i read Autumm is ideal, not too hot nor cold, Christmas in Paris is also beautiful, with lesser crowds. What i'm worried about is rain during winter (hinderance in phototaking). But i'd also hoping (however small the chance) to see some snow! What do you guys suggest?? Thanks a bunch!

  1. The Christmas season in Paris is certainly very nice but if you're a first time Paris visitor then I really think you'd be better off in October.

Paris. especially for a tourist,  is a city for walking. There is so much to see, often in the blocks between the "must see" sights, that it would be a shame if you simply went by Metro or cab from one guide book directed spot to another without getting to experience the city at ground level as it were. Obviously the colder it gets the more tempted you'll be to avoid the street.

In October average high temperature is 15 degrees celsius/59 degrees fahrenheit, and the average low is 8 celsius, 46 fahrenheit.

In December the average high temperature is 7 degrees celsius/45 degrees farenheit, and the average low is 2 celsius, 36 farenheit. There's snow an average of twice in the month.

  2. better choose autumn the weather will be better than in December less rain less cold and there are years i haven't seen snow in December in Paris . have a nice trip
