A few months ago I had a brand new Honeywell F300E installed by a professional contractor. Everything looks OK: F300E turns itself on and off in sync with the furnace, power light is on when expected. When I press the test button I hear clicking. To make a long story short is seems that it is working perfectly, except that the air is not being cleaned. Dust is collecting on the furniture and the cells are perfectly clean. Post filter is dusty except a narrow stripes corresponding to location of the wires. Seems to me that the voltage on electrostatic wires is way too low, but I thought that the test button is testing this and it seems fine (clicking). I also checked to make sure that the cells are positioned correctly and the arrow stamped on them points it the direction of the air flow. Anybody had this problem ad had it solved?
