Hong Kong + Chinese passport?

Can a person born in Hong Kong have a Chinese passport?

I don't think so. But you can apply Hong Kong ID card and then a Hong Kong-Mainland travel document. With both documents, you can travel between Mainland and HK as convinient as Chinese, or even more convinient.

think so since hong kong is part of china so if you are a hong konger so technically u are a chinese

What do u mean chinese passport? Hong Kong is a chinese country and they belong to china now too..

we dont need a passport to live or work in China.  but we do need an entry pass to get through the China customs.  mine is a 10 yrs pass.

same to Macau.
