Question:

Hong Kong Stocks exchange.?

Does anyone know where someone from the UK can buy shares of that exchange - HKEX (HKSE: 0388.HK).

I tried my regular broker, Barclay's and they don't recognise the its symbol- 0338.hk. I also tried other big brokers but even they don't. Some american ones do like AMERITRADE but I needed to be an American citizen for that.

Maybe I am doing something wrong as I am still a newbie in this field. Can anyone tell me where to buy these shares.

Thanks in Advance.

  1. You can buy it from this broker.

  2. Check http://www.tinyurl.com/kse-alerts

I am hopeful you will get information what you are looking for at http://www.tinyurl.com/kse-alerts

  3. When asking a question like this it is best to give as much info as possible. HKEX.0388.HK is shares in the Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited (which presumably is the HK stock Exchange)

If you are thinking of buying I assume you know what it is! (unless you just got a tip from someone)

You should be able to deal in London. Someone like Winterflood (via a broker of course). If there is a market it will be dealt in London! Price is about 106 (HK$?)

Unfortunately the Investor Relations part of their website is down so I am not sure what currency the price is.

Please visit http://www.shareworld.co.uk if you think this is an informative answer.
