Honors U.S. Government Homework?

Question

Does anyone know of any articles showing countries in which their government fails or failed/succeeds or succeeded at:

1)Maintain Social Order

2)Provide Public Services

3)Provide for National Security

4)Promote Economic Security

I am not asking for you to do my homework, I just need some help building a foundation in which I can complete the rest of my homework.
