Thank god the final against Geelong is not at Skilled Stadium. If Adelaide losses, at least they have another chance at the big one.

  1. Although it was a wet and slippery game, I was surprised the crows won.

Yes!!! Geelong should be allowed to have their Final at home.

That goes for other clubs as well The AFL are to bossy demanding to much

  2. Hawksgirl is obviously still stuck in the past with this "kick a vic" mentality.

We got over that years ago, maybe she should too.

Oh yeah and remember how many S.A. players are in the Vic sides too! Not that I really give a $hit because I like AFL for what it is, I don't care where you're from, I have friends that are from the eastern states so what's the big deal? just give me a good game of footy to watch!

Ok, sorry Kev, back to the footy, What a great win !!!!

I have a lot of confidence in us kicking geelongs ****. I know we can beat them and the crows are an amazing and surprising side so who knows hey??

    Go Adelaide ;)))

  3. No of course they shouldn't get a home final, they're only minor premiers after all!! You Crows fans are unbelievable with your pathetic statements......as if you have a hope in h**l of getting anywhere in the finals!! And get over this Kick a Vic mentality, you'd have to kick a few of your own players as they're Vics!!

  4. great game, wasn't it. so we're guaranteed to see Basset play at least 1 more game at AAMI Stadium before he retires.

i can't believe im saying this, but thank god port didnt choke. go you mighty crow boysssss

  5. yep, I'd like to see adelaide win, or anyone from outside victoria to be honest!

  6. Kev, you idiot, why should Geelong not have a home final, given their season?  What is in the water in Adelaide?

On second thoughts, don't tell me what's in Adelaide water - I've smelt it, and I think I'd be sick if you told me what's in it (I brushed my teeth with it once).

  7. who cares Gelong will win the granny.

they only team with a hope is hawks.

look at adeilades list there gonna be stuffed in years to come

  8. **I think it'd be great if Geelong had a home final at Skilled Stadium but it's not going to happen.  I don't think it'll make much difference to Geelong though - they're not going to let it bother them that they have to play in Melbourne.**

  9. Of course Geelong should have a home final, they are the only non-Melbourne team that isn't offered the opportunity to play at home: and after their 2008 season they deserve it.

I was at the Cats v Crows game at AAMI, it was a great game with a great atmosphere and "The Pride of South Australia" was evident in the stands, even if not on the ground.  What a shame the die-hard loyalty of the Kardinia Park crowd isn't given the same opportunity.

    Go Cats!

  10. They finished with the most wins and the highest percentage! If that doesn't get you a home final, what the h**l does???

  11. Hello Big Kev,

Some of the above answers don't seem to understand that now Geelong is the only side in the comp that never can have a home final. All Vic played finals for Geelong are at the G or the dome.

Until Kardinia Park has 50,000 seats and lights good enough for night play (KP does have lights used for training and sometimes turned on in the 4Q for some illumination late on a winter afternoon), Geelong will play "home" finals in Melbourne.
