ok, this symbol for the company is as described.

it looks like a circle with 1/3 of the top pulled a little above with a circle around all of it. they make cool hoodies. sorry i don't know the company name.

It is hard without a pic.  It doesn't sound like burton.  They have a "b" for their logo.  

Maybe element?  

I only really know snow and skate brands, so I can't really help with ski brands.
