Hoofer 2 golf bag?

Question

I have a Ping Hoofer 2 golf bag and was wondering what the small piece of elastic is used for near the handle? It has a clip so you can take it off or put something with a ring on it. Have never used it but was just wondering what some of you use it for.

Its for your towel.

it has a small round piece on it . this sldes up and down on cord . secures towels by tightning . also if you break a club built in club carrier . good accesoray
