a hookah is a big pipe thing with tubes to smoke opium or other opiates. so i guess the smoke of it will get u high?

a hooka is a water pipe. in many ways, it is very similar to a "BONG" there is pipe tobacco amongst other things that you can smoke through the bong to create cold smoke which makes it taste good and allows you to inhale more of it at once. there is hooka tabacco which is loaded through the top of the hooka. it is a very wet tobacco and usually comes in many different flavors. they are more common in kuwait and other countries.

basically you use hot coals placed on top of tinfoil with the hookah tabacco underneath in a bowl. then you suck through the highly decorated straw. the coals heat the wet substance creates smoke, then sends the smoke through water and into the straw. as far as the smoke. well, it depends entirely on what you put in the bowl to what type of smoke you get from it.

basic point is a kind of a novelty way to smoke with your friends or family.
