Hookah and shisha help??

ok so i was wondering if there are any laws against shisha?

is there a legal age you need to be to have one in

canada? any good tips?

     The laws for shisha are the same as they are for cigarettes, since the main ingredient is tobacco, and the other ingredient is either molasses or fruit jam of some kind.



     I like hookah smoking too, it's relaxing, social, tastes delicious, and is interesting.  After going and paying 10-15 each time I did it, I decided to buy one.  Here's what I've learned.

     Don't try to be too cheap.  They aren't that expensive anyway, so go ahead and pay the 100 bucks for one you are going to enjoy.  

      Get a stainless steel main pipe.  They are non-reactive and impart no flavor of their own. You won't need to worry about sucking in any strange and toxic metals.

  There's no reason to get an oversized bowl.  By the time you smoke out a small one, everyone is pretty much done.  

      

Make sure the vase or whatever it's called is replaceble.  

Get washable hoses.

      

I got a 'large size' in that it's about 30" tall.  I asked a middle eastern guy that smokes hookah if the height mattered, and he said 'not that I can tell'.   So, if a shorter one is more convenient, go for it.  

      A carrying case that goes with it and a cleaning kit are very nice to have.  

      Starbuzz is the best brand of shisha, and I like marlot flavored really well.  It's a fruit from overseas.  It's mild and not too sweet.  

      Natural charcoal tastes better than the preformed pellets.

      I got mine at this place and they were super nice, reasonable, and the service was fast.
