Hooking 2 Computers to one router in 2 different rooms. ?! HELP?

Okay, so my main computer is in the living room, and i just hooked up another one in my room, and i wanna see if i can use my mom's wireless router to connect my computer to her wireless router and then i can get internet in my room using her router. and she has a modem and the router we have is a belkin wireless G router 2.4Ghz-802.11g and it has a display for "wired computers" and i says "1 2 3 and 4" and the "1" is lit up. which probably means, my mom's. i just want to know if i can make my computer hook up through her router/modem from my room! any HELP!!!?

  1. The wireless card in yours should auto connect to the wireless AP. If you are running 2 routers that is over kill. However it is possible to bridge 2 routers. The link for how to is below


  2. All you need is a wireless card for your computer.

    Since your mother has a Belkin router,it would do you well to purchase a Belkin wireless card.

    Install the card,I suggest USB,and the router will connect to it.

    You may have to configure your wireless connection in control panel,and that's it!
