Hooking my computer up to my television.......?

whats the steps to doing this?

not all tv's can do this check your manual and see if your tv has Digital Convergence. if it doesn't than you can't hook it up to the tv (just too let you know barely any tvs have this ability)

All you need is an S-Video cable.

Edit: Unless you have a television made before1998 you will have this connection.  Barely any televisions sold after this time would be built without it.

It depends.... What kinda TV you have? If it is a newer LCD or plazma, it should have a VGA connector on it (same connector as a computer monitor). If not then you need a video card for your computer that has S-video or RCA output. You can find one of these for about $50 or so. Just a warning though..... the picture won't be real clear when using S-video or RCA.
