Hooking up Linksys router to

Question

Hooking up Linksys router to my Mac OSX, last step according to web page help is to enter ISP's settings and name it. Suppose to go to http://192.168.1.1 using password 'admin'. Cannot find where to do that I keep getting a page to download free software, but that does not open either. Can anyone help? Thank You, Cody (email is [e-mail] if needed)
