Hooking up a super nintendo?

How do I hook up a super nintendo to my newer HDTV magnavox?

please help! what source do i go to? AV1, AV2, HDMI, PC, or Tv?

It depends on what cables your using. The RCA jack on the back of the Nintendo is RF. You need an RF switch (NOT an RF converter) to connect it to your TV's antenna/cable input. Then it'll be on channel 3 or 4.

The better to option is to buy the special SNES A/V cable. (I was mad back in the day when this didn't ship with the SNES.) Then it'll be on AV1 or AV2.
