i am getting one of three options and i want to know a good cheap amp to put on my subs depending on the route i go..either 3 10 inch pioneer premiers 1000watts TS-W1007D4 ... or 2 12's pioneer premiers TS-W3001D4 3000 wts max speakers.....and which u think will hit harder since the 3 10s only have a 350rms which would be a total of 1050 rms and the 2 12s have a 1000rms which would be 2000rms total

  1. when it comes to what will hit harder/louder the RMS wattage is important- but not as important as surface area

and 3x10=30inches vs. 2x12=24inches, so the three will be louder because more surface area means that more air is be moved- more surface area equals more bass

  2. Go to this site:

  3. the 3 tens will hit harder dude? 3000 peak watts is still more than 2000 watts....

  4. Those specific 12's will hit waaaaaay harder, assuming you power them properly.

edit: While what the guy below me says is true, he's not taking into account the tremendous difference in power output.
