  1. line out converter instructions in the box

  2. You just need a line-out converter that splices into the factory speaker wire.  This will knock the signal down to a level that the amp can handle.  Just need a set of RCA cables to connect the converter to the amp.

  3. Yes it can be done. If the amp has high level inputs you simply tap in to the speaker wires and run them over to the high level speaker inputs on the amp. There is a very good chance the amp you buy will have high level inputs. If the amp does not have high level inputs you will need a line-out converter. The converter hooks up to the speaker wires and converts them to RCA cables for the amp. If you do need a line out converter the "active" type that require 12v power work much better than standard "passive" type converters.

  4. Yeah, you would need a line driver (output converter) to grab signal from the factory speaker wires. You can pick it up at any local shop or Bestbuy. It basically taps the +,- from the spaker leads from the back of the radio. You dont have to disconnect the speakers either, it just grabs enough signal for you to get rca outputs for the amp. Just to let you know, it will always sound better if you upgrade your headunit too, and by adjusting the bass setting on your stock deck will greatly affect the door speakers too and may cause them to blow. Just be carefull Have fun!
