Hooking up another cable outside to the dish?

I had three recievers hooked up once outside on the dish.

One has pulled out and I'm not sure how to reattach it....do I need a spicer?

  1. Did the end just come off the cable or is the cable cut in 2? If the end just came off, you can buy replacement (RG-6) connectors that s***w right back on & they don't have to be crimped. If your cable is cut, then you'd have to put 2 RG-6 connectors on either end of the split cables & use an F-81 (this is just a female connector which allows you to s***w 2 male connectors into it)connector to splice the 2 together. However, it's always best to run a new cable & avoid splicing, but if you can't, be sure & seal it good to avoid moisture getting in the connection.
